International Association of Administrative Professionals - Clear-Penn Chapter

Are you an Administrative Assistant, Secretary, Office Manager, Clerk or Administrative Specialist? Then you are an Administrative Professional! The International Association of Administrative Professionals® (IAAP®) defines an administrative professional as an individual who possesses a mastery of office skills, demonstrates the ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision, exercises initiative and judgment, and makes decisions within the scope of assigned authority. IAAP is the world's largest association for administrative support staff with nearly 600 chapters and 40,000 members and affiliates worldwide. There are 17 Chapters in Pennsylvania.

Most positions held by Administrative Professionals today only offer chances to increase computer and typing skills. Do you need other skills to advance? Do you need to build or strengthen your skills? As a member of IAAP, you will have opportunities to increase skills or acquire new ones. You will also have the opportunity to network with Administrative Professionals, such as yourself, from all over the county, state, nation, and world!
