Our mission: Strengthening communities in Centre and Clearfield counties by helping families and individuals to become self-sufficient.
In meeting our mission, CPCA provides many programs and services to assist communities, families, and individuals. We offer affordable rental housing and housing services such as homeowner rehabilitation and ADA measures, first time homebuyer assistance and weatherization.
In meeting basic needs, we operate numerous programs and maintain partnerships with other organizations to help fill gaps. Our employment and training staff offer hands on job readiness and life skills for personal growth. Transportation and mileage reimbursement assist residents in-need to meet their medical appointments.
Finally,we recognize that asset building is an important part of becoming and maintaining self-sufficiency, which is why our two most recent programs offer a dollar family savings program; and, help individuals to take advantage of the Federal Government's Earned Income Tax Credits.
