Business & Professional Women of Clearfield

The mission of the BPW is to provide full participation, equity, and economic self-sufficiency for American’s working women.

The members of the Clearfield Business and Professional Women’s Club support specific legislation and policy that addresses the issues of civil rights, health and economic opportunity.  We actively work to educate and support equal rights for women, eliminate abuse, support funding for educational training programs that develop protocols for the protection of victims, and support legislation that eliminates sexual harassment and employee discrimination in the work place.

The organization also works to help women access credit, paid sick and family leave and provides for the availability of affordable quality elder dependant and child care that ensures self-sufficiency for women.

We support State and Local scholarship funding for high school students and college students of all ages.  In the past we have support local originations like Lock Haven University Clearfield Campus, Clearfield YMCA, First Books, Clearfield Swimming Pool Association, and Clearfield EMS.
