Chambers of Commerce are generally known across our country as being local organizations made up of businesses whose goal is to further the business interests of the community. Business owners in towns and cities form these local societies to advocate on behalf of the business community. The Clearfield Chamber of Commerce is in fact that, and our sole mission is to be committed to promoting and enhancing the greater Clearfield area economy, business environment, quality of life and community pride, now and in the future. We endeavor to become the agency of choice in Clearfield County for community leadership, information and pride.
The Clearfield Chamber currently has well over 320 diverse member businesses and organizations. From accountants to towing services, dog kennels to restaurants, and churches to workers unions, we encompass the entire spectrum. We also strive to connect all businesses and organizations by creating new relationships and promoting the “keep business local” attitude.
What we are is a not-for-profit organization that operates solely on the dues paid by our members, with no governmental funding. We provide endless amounts of valuable information to local and out-of-area businesses and citizens, networking opportunities, social activities, seminars and workshops, attend ribbon cuttings, town meetings, and serve on a variety of community-service-oriented boards. We are an advocate for the greater Clearfield area and business success.
