The Clearfield County SPCA is a non-profit organization for the welfare of animals. The Clearfield County SPCA is a humane organization, providing local leadership in three key areas: caring for pet parents and pets, providing positive outcomes for at-risk animals and serving victims of animal cruelty This shelter offers many services such as adoption, public spay/neuter, cremation/burial services, lost/found animals, owner surrender, and cruelty investigations. None of this would be possible without the help of their employees who work daily to care for the lives of these animals
Just like a lot of animal shelters, the Clearfield County ASPCA runs completely on donations. Every day new animals come into the shelter looking for a new beginning and to find a new forever home with the adoption process. The shelter also offers “Pawsonality Match.” This is an advantage tool for people to use to find their perfect pet.
The Clearfield County SPCA is always looking for volunteers to help at the shelter and donations to better serve the animals. The shelter is opened Mondays from 1:30 - 7:00; and Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 1:30-5:00.
